The compact luxury sedan, Acura TLX, exudes sleek and sophisticated styling complemented by a premium interior ambiance. Under the hood, a responsive 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, present in the base trims, delivers compelling performance. However, for those with a penchant for driving excitement, the preferred choice lies in the available 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, featured in the Type S model. While all trims offer commendable handling, the Type S variant takes it up a notch with a sportier and more captivating driving experience. Inside the sport sedan, room for five occupants is available, although taller passengers may find the rear seats somewhat constricted.

Stepping into the interior, the cabin emanates a premium aesthetic and tactile satisfaction, offering a rich assortment of amenities. Surprisingly, even the base trim boasts a high-quality audio system, and the infotainment configuration includes an array of standard features. Yet, it’s worth noting that a touchscreen interface is absent. To access various functions, drivers can rely on controls situated on the steering wheel, while most features are managed through a touchpad positioned on the center console. However, this touchpad setup can pose challenges, particularly when traversing uneven road surfaces.

Among TLX’s rivals, the roster includes the sportier yet more opulent Audi A6, the refined and subtly elegant Volvo S60, and the audacious Cadillac CT5.
